The Vitocal 300-G Pro heat pumps with a capacity of up to 222.2 kilowatts are mass-produced. The Pro Series has all the features of the highly efficient Vitocal 300-G Series, with five power sizes to reliably meet most residential and commercial building requirements. These instruments are standardized, allowing for fast and comprehensive system design as well as transparent costing parameters. Higher performance can be achieved by combining up to five Vitocal 300-G Pros into a cascade.
Sealed design with new scrolling technology takes up little space. With a width of only 850 millimeters, with removable body panels and a gap in the lower part that allows the device to be transported on a pallet, it is very easy to manoeuvre.
The use of a water/water system with an intermediate brine circuit provides a reliable solution for the direct use of groundwater. An intermediate heat exchanger protects the standard unit from contamination and reduces the amount of maintenance work on the heat pump.
The electrical equipment is already integrated into the heat pump housing. Factory-installed contactors for fail-safe primary and secondary pumps, as well as compressor protection, reduce installation effort and allow for quick installation of the heat pump.
The management philosophy was taken from the Vitocal series for detached and semi-detached houses. Here, too, the Refrigerant Cycle Diagnostic (RCD) system continuously checks the efficiency and ensures reliable operation at every operating point thanks to its interaction with the Electronic Expansion Valve (EEV) and extensive sensor technology.
The Vitotronic 200 regulates up to three heating circuits and, thanks to the free cooling function, ensures a pleasant indoor atmosphere on hot summer days. A wide range of system monitoring and optimization settings can be adjusted from anywhere, via the Internet or smartphone, using the Vitocom 300 communication module, which is offered as an option.
All models are additionally equipped with a programmable logic controller (PLC). Data transmission via Modbus/BACnet or LAN, in particular, offers the possibility of even more targeted integration into building management systems (BMS). The PLC-based Vitotronic also allows you to control dry coolers and control up to three heating/cooling circuits.
In combination with the air/brine heat exchanger, the Vitocal 300-G Pro provides both cooling and the use of air as a heat source. The air/brine heat exchanger is connected to the heat pump via a brine circuit and provides heat recovery at air temperatures down to -5 °C. At temperatures below -5 °C, the second heat generator takes over the heat supply in a dual alternate mode. This allows for flexible system design and a reliable system together with a second heat generator.
For such air/water systems, both Vitocal 300-G Pro and an air/brine heat exchanger designed for this purpose are available. An attractive solution from a single source.
