The Vitocal 262-A DHW heat pump uses heat from the indoor air, outside air or exhaust air to heat the DHW economically and energy-efficiently.
The Vitocal 262-A DHW heat pump is the ideal addition to your existing heating system. In the new Vitopearlwhite design, the appliance is also suitable for installation near living spaces. The wall-mounted version is particularly compact. Vitocal 262-A provides low-cost and energy-saving DHW heating. To do this, the versatile appliance extracts heat from the outside air as well as from the ambient air and exhaust air in the room.
Typical applications include laundries, bakeries, or server rooms, where large amounts of heat are generated on a regular basis.

The new refrigerant circuit sets the standard for efficiency and climate protection. It works with the refrigerant HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) R1234ze, which has a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 7, i.e. roughly comparable to a natural refrigerant. Conventional refrigerants such as R134a, on the other hand, have a much higher GWP value of over 1400.
With the new generation of refrigerants, the Vitocal 262-A DHW heat pumps already meet the requirements of the European F-Gas Regulation, which will be in force after 2030. This makes them especially promising in operation.
For mono operation, the heat pump is supplied without an internal indirect heat exchanger (type T2E-ze). Built-in hot water cylinder with a volume of 300 liters. Alternatively, a hybrid version with an integrated indirect heat exchanger (type T2H-ze) can be selected. This is recommended for upgrading and upgrading existing systems.
The intelligent control unit always selects the optimal operating mode – heat pump or heat generator – taking into account energy prices and primary energy coefficients. The Vitocal 262-A preheats water in a built-in 300-liter cylinder. The existing heat generator is only used for reheating if necessary. This ensures maximum convenience of hot water supply at any time.
In the compact wall-mounted design (type T2W-ze), the hot water supply is heated by an adjacent hot water cylinder (with a capacity of 160 to 500 liters).
The electric version (type T2E-ze) is equipped with a dry immersion heater. The hybrid version with indirect heat exchanger (type T2H-ze) can be retrofitted with an immersion heater if required.
