Compact, quiet heat pump that takes up little space – also suitable for installation in the immediate vicinity of residential premises.
The compact Vitocal 222-G brine/water heat pump is fully equipped with all the components needed for DHW and central heating.
With a heat output of 5.8 to 10.4 kW, it is ideal for use in detached homes. A feed temperature of up to 65°C also allows it to be used with conventional radiators.
This heat pump is an attractive alternative to the compact 300 series. Thanks to the refrigerant circuits with a fixed heat output (in three power versions) and an electronically controlled expansion valve, it achieves a COP (coefficient of performance) of up to 4.8 according to EN 14511 (5/2018) at B0/W35.
The small dimensions of this heat pump make it particularly suitable for applications where space is limited – the brine circulation pump, the heating circuit pump and the 3-way diverter valve are already integrated into the compact housing.
For ease of transport and installation of the Vitocal 222-G, the new refrigerant circuit module can be simply removed from the heat pump and, if necessary, transported separately thanks to the plug-in hydraulic and electrical connectors. Thanks to the flexible connection concept, the heat pump can also be quickly adapted to the installation situation on site.
The housing of the compact unit fully protects the refrigeration module/hydraulic compartment from the outside environment and, in combination with three-dimensional anti-vibration mounts, minimizes operating noise. These compact heat pumps are among the quietest in their category, with a sound power level of only 46 dB(A) (B0/W55).

With the optional Vitoconnect internet interface, the heat pump can be controlled online from anywhere via the free ViCare app on any standard mobile device. On the device itself, the Vitotronic 200 control unit with text and graphic display enables intuitive operation via menus.
