Quiet, compact, and easily integrated into the home’s energy system: these are the advantages of the new Vitovent 300-W mechanical ventilation system. When combined with a Vitocal heat pump, it can be conveniently controlled using the ViCare app and a smartphone. The system’s internet connection allows retailers to check its operation via a web browser using the ViGuide app. The Vitovent 300-W can also be installed as a standalone system, for example, in an attic.
The central system ventilates with virtually no energy loss. It also operates extremely energy efficiently. During cold months, a powerful heat exchanger utilizes up to 92% (at 400 m³/h ) and 91% (at 325 m³/h ) of the latent heat in the exhaust air to preheat the incoming fresh air. A built-in electric preheating heat exchanger ensures continuous, frost-free operation even at low outside temperatures.
During warmer months, the Vitovent 300-W heat exchanger can be completely bypassed via a built-in automatic bypass valve. This temperature-controlled circuit allows cool outside air to enter the room at night, providing a pleasantly fresh atmosphere.
A filtration system with an effective additional pollen filter removes allergens and harmful substances from the supply air. This significantly reduces the growth and spread of dust mites and mold, thereby creating a hygienic indoor environment.
One of the main causes of mold growth is indoor humidity. Mold can be harmful to the health of occupants and cause irreversible damage to the building’s fabric.

The Vitovent 300-W ventilation unit can be connected directly to the Vitotronic 200 (WO1C) heat pump control unit or controlled via a type LB1 ventilation programming unit. It features an automatic bypass for natural cooling. An integrated electric preheating coil ensures continuous, frost-free operation, even at low outside temperatures. It is certified according to the Passive House Institute (PHI) criteria. |
