The compact Vitovent 200-D mechanical ventilation unit is designed for the controlled ventilation of individual rooms. Supply air is filtered and heated through a cross-flow heat exchanger with heat recovery from the indoor air. Up to 90 percent of the exhaust air’s heat is recovered. Up to 55 m³ of air is replaced per hour. Complex ventilation concepts can be implemented by using multiple units.
The ventilation unit requires only one opening in the external wall to install. No additional ductwork is required—only a single power supply (230 V). A choice of corner and curved casing designs provides high flexibility and quick and easy installation. The Vitovent 200-D mechanical ventilation unit is ideal, for example, for combating moisture problems during renovation projects or for maintaining a comfortable indoor environment. Furthermore, balanced humidity management prevents building damage.
At the same time, heat recovery saves energy compared to, for example, primary window ventilation. This reduces heating bills. The supply air function (type HRM) provides additional comfort in the summer: at night, the heat exchanger can be bypassed, bringing cool night air into the room. This keeps the rooms pleasantly cool—without the need for a traditional air conditioning system.
With an additional electric preheating heat exchanger, the Vitovent 200-D ensures balanced operation at all times, ensuring high indoor air quality in energy-efficient buildings, even at low outside temperatures. Standard pollen filters allow allergy sufferers to breathe easily, effectively preventing pollen from entering the outside air. Windows no longer need to be regularly opened or left open to ensure adequate air exchange. When closed, they provide increased burglar protection and block out road noise.
The programming unit is integrated into the internal wall cover. The supply and outdoor air filters are replaceable, and the central components can be cleaned and inspected from the inside.
A wireless control switch (accessory) without batteries allows you to conveniently change the operating mode of one or several devices simultaneously. Piezoelectric technology requires no cables or battery changes, allowing the switch to be installed without intruding into the building’s fabric.
The quiet, energy-efficient Vitovent 200-D fans continuously adjust to the air quality using an optional air quality sensor to ensure localized control. In automatic mode, the fan speed remains constant, ensuring a healthy and thermally comfortable indoor environment.
