With the Vitovent 300-C mechanical ventilation unit, AHI-Carrier offers a solution that’s particularly suitable for controlled ventilation of apartments. Particularly after implementing energy-saving measures and insulating the exterior walls, the building envelope becomes more airtight and requires adequate ventilation to protect the building’s fabric. Otherwise, there’s a risk of mold growth due to excessive indoor humidity.
The Vitovent 300-C impresses with its compact, slim design. It can be easily concealed in suspended ceilings, such as in a hallway, where ventilation ducts for the rooms on either side can be installed. Vertical wall installation is also possible, for example in a storage room.
The maximum air supply of 150 m3/h is sufficient for comfortable ventilation of rooms ranging from 65 to 90 m2 .
The Vitovent 300-C ventilation unit utilizes up to 89 percent of the latent heat in the exhaust air, warming the cold outside air using a cross-counterflow heat exchanger. This saves energy and reduces heating costs year-round.
The standard package includes an automatic bypass circuit for warmer months. Fresh, cool supply air can be directed past the heat exchanger directly into the room, achieving passive cooling.
Although this compact unit already operates very quietly, additional insulation measures may be necessary depending on the installation location. Suitable system accessories include a blind distributor for integration into the unit, as well as sound attenuators for the outside and exhaust air.
The Vitovent 300-C mechanical ventilation system also helps allergy sufferers breathe easier. The filtration system, which includes an additional pollen filter, removes allergens and harmful substances from the supply air, creating an irritant-free environment.

The Vitovent 300-W ventilation unit can be connected directly to the Vitotronic 200 (WO1C) heat pump control unit or controlled via an LB1 ventilation programming unit. It features passive cooling with an automatic summer bypass. A built-in preheating heat exchanger provides frost protection and efficient heat recovery year-round. It is certified according to the Passive House Institute (PHI) criteria. |
