Condensing technology with proven Inox-Radial heat exchanger for efficient heating operation
The Vitoradial 300-T condensing boiler is particularly compact. A three-pass boiler with multi-layer convective heating surfaces and an Inox-Radial spiral heat exchanger installed downstream, an easy-to-operate Vitotronic control unit with a color touch screen and a boiler door with a burner plate.
The Vitoradial 300-T is an innovative combination of the Vitoplex 300 low-temperature boiler with an Inox-Radial heat exchanger installed directly on the boiler for the use of condensing technology. Proven multi-layer convective heating surfaces in combination with the corrosion-resistant Inox-Radial heat exchanger provide highly efficient two-stage heat recovery. Vitoradial 300-T is suitable for operation on all commercially available ultra-light (EL) fuel oil and natural gas.
Its compact design and low body height make the Vitoradial 300-T an ideal choice for retrofit projects.
The Vitoradial 300-T multilayer convective heating surfaces consist of telescopic steel tubes pressed into each other for perfect heat transfer. The inner tube with folded linear fins creates a heating surface 2.5 times larger than that of smooth tubes. Heat is transferred through various gaps between the pressing points in such a way that the back of the triplex tubes transfers less heat to the boiler water, as the combustion products circulating here are no longer as hot. This allows the surface temperature to be kept above the dew point, counteracting condensation and preventing corrosion damage.
The downstream Inox-Radial heat exchanger provides highly efficient condensing technology. It increases the efficiency rate by eight percent to 97 percent (Hs) [gross cv]. This principle ensures that combustion and condensation occur in physically separated locations and the combustion products condense without residue. In practice, this means standard maintenance intervals for cleaning the combustion chamber and low operating costs.
The Vitoradial 300-T is available for a power range of up to 545 kW. The Inox-Radial heat exchanger is highly efficient and made of stainless steel – this eliminates the risk of corrosion caused by acid condensate.
The integrated Vitotronic control unit with a large color touchscreen is simple and intuitive to use. A wizard function assists with commissioning. The boiler can be connected directly to Vitodata via the Vitocom interface. This option provides heating contractors with additional digital services to ensure smooth system operation. The Vitosoft 300 service tool communicates directly via WiFi. Energy consumption can be visualized on the control unit’s energy display.
