The Vitocal 300-G is ideal for large detached homes and multi-family buildings. It uses the heat that’s right on your doorstep, either with a single-stage brine/water heat pump with a capacity of 21.2 to 42.8 kW or with a water/water heat pump with a capacity of 28.1 to 58.9 kW – each tailored to your specific heat needs.
For apartment buildings or applications that require very high performance, the two-stage, Vitocal 300-G, which operates on a master/slave basis, is suitable. It can provide a heat output of 42.4 to 85.6 kW (brine/water) or 56.2 to 117.8 kW (water/water). You also have the choice between groundwater or earth as your preferred heat source.
If this power is not enough, up to five master/slave combinations can be connected using the stage function integrated in the control unit, which allows you to increase the power to 589 kW (water/water).
At the heart of the Vitocal 300-G is the powerful Compliant scroll compressor. This component is characterized by a high degree of operational safety and reliability. In combination with large heat exchangers and an integrated refrigerant collector, Vitocal 300-G achieves high COP and flow temperatures of up to 60 °C.
The sealed housing and particularly clever design of the instrument reduce the noise level of the Vitocal 300-G, which far exceeds expectations in this power range.
RCD stands for Refrigerant Cycle Diagnostic System. It provides constant monitoring of the refrigerant circuit in the Vitocal 300-G and, in combination with an electronic expansion valve, guarantees the highest level of efficiency at every operating point.
Especially when the heat demand is high, the Vitocal 300-G is the first choice, as several heat pumps can be connected via heating supply and return. This not only ensures the required high heating capacity, but also increases the operational reliability of the entire system. The modular design with separate compressor circuits ensures a particularly high level of efficiency in part-load operation and allows the simultaneous use of DHW and district heating.
With three power sizes, in master or master/slave versions, the Vitocal 300-G offers various combinations that can be precisely matched to the required thermal demand. For higher heat demands, the Vitocal 300-G can operate in master/slave mode with another heat pump of the same type or with the Vitocal 350-G. A combined master/slave system, such as Vitocal 300-G for the required heat load and Vitocal 350-G for high flow temperatures for DHW heating, allows you to optimally match heat pumps to your property right from the design stage.
The availability of various versions and the possibility of adjusting the size according to the needs allows you to optimize operating time and cost-effectiveness. The master module controls the slave module. By combining different power sizes, users of the system have the opportunity to match the environmentally responsible heating system to their specific heat needs in the most efficient way using different modules.
The EHPA quality mark serves as a confirmation of COP (coefficient of efficiency). The German EHPA Quality Mark Committee has confirmed that the Viesmann Vitocal 300-G heat pump meets the requirements of the EHPA quality mark.

Even as a child, Benedict Doll spent a lot of time outside, training for biathlon. However, climate change means that snow is becoming increasingly rare in the region where it lives. Therefore, the 2017 biathlon sprint world champion and his family decided to focus on innovation and sustainability while renovating their home with a heat pump and a photovoltaic system to contribute to climate protection.
The Vitotronic 200 is easy and intuitive to use thanks to text user prompts and a graphical display. Among other things, it allows for an integral, differentiated energy report that is accepted by the subsidy authorities [in Germany].
