Heat pumps use freely available energy from air, earth or water to heat and cool spaces. This is energy-efficient and climate-friendly – especially if the electricity needed for operation comes from a photovoltaic system on site.
Thanks to advanced condensing technology, fossil fuels such as natural gas and liquefied gas are used particularly efficiently. It is possible to use mixtures of biogas and hydrogen.
In order to make efficient use of the energy stored in fossil fuels, AHI Carrier also uses products with condensing technology. Features such as operating on sustainable fuels and combining with a renewable heat generator make oil-fired heating systems suitable for the future.
In a hybrid heating system, various heat generators are combined, for example, a gas boiler and a heat pump. Depending on the chosen focus, the innovative AHI Carrier control unit offers cost savings or low-emission operation.
Since combustion only emits as muchCO2 as the trees absorbed during their growth period, heating with logs and pellets is climate neutral. Solid fuel boilers also have the advantage of constant fuel prices - especially if the fuel is produced in the region.
Electric heating systems provide decentralised heating. They can complement an existing system and quickly provide heat when needed. If the electricity for the operation comes from photovoltaic installations, it makes such systems cheap and climate-friendly.
Fuel cells use the principle of cogeneration. This means combined heat and power generation, which increases the user's self-sufficiency. All that is needed to produce the hydrogen needed for the operation is a connection to a gas pipeline.
If the orientation of the roof is correct and the self-consumption is relatively high, for example because an electric-based heating system is installed in the building, then a photovoltaic system is particularly worthwhile. The storage devices ensure optimal availability of solar energy at all times.
