Rental of heating systems is a relatively new service of AHI Carrier. The basic principle behind it is easy to understand: instead of the classic boiler purchase, which can incur higher acquisition costs, customers pay a fixed monthly rate. In return, they receive a state-of-the-art AHI Carrier heat generator and a comprehensive service that includes maintenance, repairs, an application for a state subsidy (for the respective installations) and a warranty. Who is AHI Carrier Wärme suitable for?

AHI Carrier Wärme is suitable for homeowners and landlords who want to modernize their heating system or install a new one.

How can I get a quote?

To use this service, simply contact your sales partner. If you do not yet have a sales partner, click Request Expert Consultation.

Who will install my new heating system?

Installation is carried out by your chosen AHI Carrier sales partner. If you don't already have a channel partner, click on Request Expert Advice to find a partner in your area.

What kind of heating system will be installed in my home with AHI Carrier Wärme?

After signing the contract, AHI Carrier Wäärme will be fitted with the latest generation of AHI Carrier heat generator or AHI Carrier heat pump. This state-of-the-art heating technology reduces heating costs by up to 30 percent.

Cost Issues

How much will a new heat generator cost me per month?

The monthly rate depends on the cost of a new heat generator. You can ask your AHI Carrier sales partner about this as part of an individual consultation or in an offer from the installer; More information can be found here.

Do I also benefit from AHI Carrier state heating subsidies?

Even if you rent a heating system, you can take advantage of the state subsidy for heating. For eligible systems, we will apply for a subsidy on your behalf and provide you with a 100% guarantee of receiving the subsidy. The amount of the subsidy depends on the type of device you choose and the old device and will be fully offset against your rent. This way, you won't have to pay in advance and wait for the government to pay the subsidies, sometimes months after you apply.

How is my monthly rate calculated?

Your sales partner will send you an individual price list. The tariff is calculated based on the offer for a new heating system from your trading partner. Influencing factors include the area to be heated and the corresponding annual gas consumption.

Which components of the estimate can be financed through AHI Carrier Wärme?

The financed components of the offer include the AHI Carrier heat generator, its installation, dismantling and disposal of the old system (except for oil or gas tanks), additional parts directly connected to the system (pipes, separator, expansion tank, etc.) as well as the Vitoconnect Box for cloud connection of the heating system. The components of the heating circuit of a residential facility, such as servo motors, thermostats, radiators, heating valves, etc., are not financed. Components that serve to supply energy outside the boiler house, such as oil or liquefied gas tanks, underground gas pipelines, natural gas connections, etc., are also not financed.

Legal issues

What is the duration of the contract?

As a rule, the duration of a AHI Carrier Wärme contract is ten or fifteen years. However, shorter periods are also possible, starting from 2 years.

What happens after the contract is signed?

Immediately after signing the contract, the sales partner will make an appointment for you to install a new heat generator.

When does my contract start?

Your contract starts after the installation and commissioning of the new heat generator.

What happens after the contract expires?

In principle, at the end of the contract, there are three options:

contract extension,
withdrawal of the heating system at a pre-agreed residual value
or dismantling at AHI Carrier's expense.
