This makes it versatile, for example, in detached/semi-detached houses, sports facilities, nursing homes.
Fresh hot water is always available, no need for storage
Thanks to the pre-installed module, the control unit and the high-efficiency circulation pump are integrated and connected to each other.
This allows it to be easily integrated into an existing heating system with a buffer tank for hot water.
Without additional external control unit (types PBMA, PBMA-S, PBLA and PBLA-S)
Thus, it is ideal for integration into low-temperature heating systems with solar thermal systems.
Freshwater modules provide convenient and hygienic hot water heating using the instantaneous hot water principle. Unlike conventional hot water cylinders, water is not used to store thermal energy, but is heated only as needed using a powerful plate heat exchanger.
The energy for this DHW heating is taken from a heating water buffer tank, which can be heated by a wide range of systems – from solar thermal systems, solid fuel boilers, conventional oil/gas boilers, heat pumps or other systems.
The Vitotrans 353 can maintain a constant hot water temperature at the tap despite varying water flow rates. Highly efficient, latest-generation circulation pumps are controlled by an integrated control unit, ensuring that the heating water flow rate is always optimal for the current water consumption.
Five Vitotrans 353 types ensure ideal convenience, optimum hygiene and long-term energy savings.
Series of products for wall mounting
A series for DHW circulation for installation on a heating water buffer tank
A new feature for the proven Vitotrans 353 is a version with a nickel-plated plate heat exchanger. This alternative to the copper version, which is still available, can be installed in areas where water quality poses a risk of copper corrosion.
Wall-mounted fresh water modules of the PBSA (flow rate 25 l/min), PBMA/PBMA-S (flow rate 48 l/min), and PBLA/PBLA-S (flow rate 68 l/min) types are supplied without a DHW circulation pump and can be retrofitted with a DHW circulation kit (accessory) inside the thermal insulation. A return circulation kit (accessory) can also be used via a 3-way diverter valve installed next to the heating water buffer tank.
To increase sampling speed, up to four identical PBMA/PBMA-S and PBLA/PBLA-S modules can be cascaded. No additional control unit is required, as the integrated control units communicate with each other via a BUS cable.

The DHW circulation series includes additional models for installation on a heating water buffer tank. The PZSA (25 l/min flow rate) and PZMA/PZMA-S (48 l/min flow rate) models are factory-installed with a DHW circulation kit, as well as a return distribution kit for quick and easy cylinder installation.
Fresh water modules in the DHW circulation version can be combined with the following Vitocell heating water buffer cylinders:
