The high-performance Vitosol 100-FM flat plate collectors are the perfect complement to any heating system. With an individual absorber area of 2.3 m², solar collectors can be efficiently matched to any energy needs. On average, they can replace up to 60 percent of the energy that would otherwise be required annually to heat DHW and contribute to backup central heating. When used in conjunction with a condensing boiler, free solar energy can help you reduce your annual energy consumption for heating and DHW by more than a third.
The aluminum frame folded around the perimeter and the seamless fastening of the panels ensure constant tightness and high stability of the collector. The back panel is protected from punctures and corrosion. High-performance thermal insulation reduces heat loss, especially in spring, autumn and winter.
The collectors are particularly easy to install. Integrated supply and return pipes allow even large collectors to be installed safely using flexible corrugated stainless steel connectors. Up to twelve solar collectors can be easily connected together.
Flat plate collectors can be used universally for installation above the roof, roof integration and installation on collector supports, e.g. on flat roofs. The easy-to-assemble AHI-Carrier mounting system consists of load-tested and corrosion-resistant stainless steel and aluminium components.
An intelligent absorption layer protects the manifolds from overheating. AHI-Carrier’s patented ThermProtect technology prevents further energy absorption after a certain temperature has been reached, when the solar cylinder is fully heated.
ThermProtect also results in a higher performance of Vitosol 100-FM compared to conventional flat plate manifolds, as a wider selection of sizes is possible.
